This CD, released in France, May 2004 by the world-renowned company "Universal Classics France" was in Top 10 classic music CDs during 2004.
In 2005 July "Universal Music France" released the second CD where Evgeny Shestakov and Omsk Academic Symphony Orchestra perform Concerto for violin and orchestra and Concerto for piano and orchestra by Didier Lockwood, the number one jazz violinist in the world, fresh-minded, talented french composer. Professional artistic quality of this CD is of the same level as the world's best ones. Evgeny Shestakov's mastership of interpreting modern symphony and jazz music has got the way to be shown on the deserved level.
This CD was released in Russia by "Post Vinyl Media" company in December 2004. The brilliant russian jazz classical pianist Daniil Kramer plays compositions for piano and orchestra by W. Mozart, G. Gershwin and D. Lockwood. The skill of Evgeny Shestakov and Omsk Academic Sympnonic Orchestra was exposed in magnificent ensemble and fine sounding of an orchestra in a music of quite different styles.
